STEPS TO RUNNING SAFE. DO:

Dehydrate properly. Take a sip of water every 15 minutes during a run. Drink more water before and after exercising.
Have a good muscle rub. Use methyl salicylate to cover the affected area to get some pain relief
Retreat to cooler spot to prevent heat stroke and slap on some sunscreen.
Prevent heart attack by having a medical check up -ECG & chest X-ray before running a marathon.
 Prevent over-hydration by drinking no more than 800ml of water per hour during extended exercise.
